Parabeam
Parabeam is a system for remotely monitoring entrance ways. The system is Wireless, Solar Powered and Long Range.

Its means of detecting people and vehicles is an invisible photo-electric beam (like a laser) making it far less prone to the false alarms that most budget systems suffer from.

When the beam is crossed, an alert signal is sent to a home base receiver notifying you immediately. Other options are text message alerts and a pocket receiver – useful if you work around your property.

LONG RANGE EQUIPMENT
Parabeam MegaBeam Transmitter
MegaBeam Transmitter This transmitter can send a signal over 2Km's to a base receiver. Over 10Km's if a MegaBeam antenna is used at the receiving end also. (Obstacle dependent) Sends one ID code - ask if you require multiple ID codes. Applications include repeater transmitter for Pocket receiver or Parabeam beamset. (needs a base receiver for any repeater application) Long range transmitter for a hard-wired motion detector or any other simple telemetry applications.
- 12 Volt DC activation
- 15m Cable attached
- Use same mounting arrangement as MegaBeam receive antenna

$308.00

Parabeam MegaBeam Antenna
MegaBeam Antenna     This antenna boosts the reception range to several kilometers depending on obstacles. It does this by a combination of high-gain, directivity and elevation.

Ideally you would mount the MegaBeam on a TV antenna ridge-mount or curved fascia mount, it may be mounted on an existing TV antenna mast though this is not preferred. Supplied with 15m Coax cable.

$186.00

Parabeam Base Receiver RX2
Base Receiver RX-2 This receiver is designed to be connected to a master receiver in a master / slave arrangement. You would order this if you wanted two receivers and had a long distance requirement that relied on an outdoor (MegaBeam) antenna.

In this situation the antenna connects to the master receiver directly, which then sends data (not a radio signal) to the slave receiver through inexpensive alarm cable - thus eliminating the need to split and subsequently weaken the antenna signal.

$244.00

Parabeam Base Receiver RX3
Base Receiver RX-3       This receiver is a cost effective alternative to the RX2 - it does not have adjustable volume - instead it has a fixed loudness beeper.

It can be powered from the master receiver through 4-core alarm cable - no need for it's own power pack.

You would order this if you had a similar long range application as described above, but did not require adjustable volume on the slave receiver but still required independent control of zones being monitored and all other receiver functions. Often installed in bedroom or office.
$208.00
